How to Use Our Porcelain Tile Drill Bits
These diamond core bits must be kept cool while drilling. This means constant application of the water coolant throughout the drilling operation. Allowing the bit to heat will reduce useful life and can completely destroy it. The key to successful drilling is to maintain a light pressure and high revolutions, a drill speed of 1500-2500 rpm is recommended. A hand held battery drill is ideal rather than a mains operated machine. Firstly because it is much more manoeuverable and secondly for safety - you will be using a water spay after all.Watch the video Starting the HoleA core bit does not have a point as a normal drill. The hole can be started in two very simple ways.
Suggested Method 1 (tile horizontal)
Suggested Method 2 (tile vertical)
