For an eye catching and elegant effect investigate the possibility of using two colors of tile or the same tile with a slightly different color tone with a border tile in between. Usually the darker shade would be placed between the floor and the border and the border placed at a height of around 90 cm to 100 cm depending on desired effect or the tile format. That height should ensure that the border is viewed uninterrupted throughout the whole bathroom extending above toilet and sink.
Floors Choice in flooring would depend on taste and functionality, marble and ceramic tile are the main contenders. Tile format can be used to advantage in making the bathroom look wider or more spacious. Vinyl floor covering, wood laminates and carpets are other options but bear in mind the possibility of potential water damage.
